The roll is a fixed number, not a target. It was set by counting how many people can use four rooms in a morning without ever waiting for a bar. When somebody leaves, one place opens. That is the whole growth plan.

MERIDIAN is a private athletic club on one floor of a former Bavarian post office. It holds one hundred and twenty members and no more. There is no music, there are no screens, and nobody will ever ask you how the session went.

The number above is the only thing on this site that asks anything of you. It is checked against the roll on the first working day of each month and is never rounded up.
What we mean by quietly
No music, no screens
The rooms carry the sound of the building and nothing else. There are no televisions above the treadmills, no leaderboard on the wall and no app that scores you. Bring headphones if you want them; most members stop within a month.
Nothing is sold to you here
No trial week, no referral scheme, no supplement counter by the door. The membership fee is the only money that changes hands, and the only thing we ask of anyone reading this is that they look at the line above.
Four rooms
The floor is arranged so that no room can be seen from another. You will hear somebody else lifting; you will rarely see them.

Prices include VAT. There is no joining fee, no contract term beyond the month, and no charge for anything else in the building.

Where to find us
The entrance is the unmarked oak door on Landwehrstraße, between the bookbinder and the courtyard gate. There is no sign. Members are given a key card; applicants are met at the door.
