One programme, reviewed quarterly
Every member has a written programme and a coach who owns it. It is reviewed every twelve weeks against what you actually did, not against what the plan said you would do.
Coaching
There are no classes at MERIDIAN and there never have been. Coaching is one person with one person, booked by the hour, and every member's programme is reviewed by the same coach who wrote it.

Every member has a written programme and a coach who owns it. It is reviewed every twelve weeks against what you actually did, not against what the plan said you would do.
Coaching hours are bought singly at €95 and never expire. There is no block of ten to commit to and no session that is lost because it was not used by March.
You keep the same coach unless you ask to move. Four coaches and a hundred and twenty members means each of them knows roughly thirty people properly.
We do not publish photographs of anybody, including ourselves. What follows is what each coach actually does with their hours.
Founder · Strength
Coaching since 2004
Trained as a physiotherapist in Regensburg, spent eleven years with a Bundesliga rowing squad, opened MERIDIAN in 2016 after concluding that most people are held back by their calendar rather than their programme. Takes the heaviest lifters and the most cautious beginners, and says the two groups need the same thing.
Barbell · Return to lifting
Coaching since 2011
Competed in weightlifting to national level, then spent six years in a Munich rehabilitation clinic teaching people to pick things up again after surgery. Most of her hours go to members over fifty and to anybody coming back from a back injury. Writes the shortest programmes in the building.
Conditioning · Endurance
Coaching since 2013
Sports science at the TUM, four years as a physiologist for an amateur cycling team, arrived here in 2018. Handles everything with a heart rate attached to it: rowing, carries, hill work in the English Garden when the weather allows. Owns the body composition scan and reads it conservatively.
Nutrition · Recovery
Practising since 2009
Ökotrophologin, registered dietitian, ten years in clinical practice in Warsaw and Munich. Writes every nutrition plan in the building and runs the recovery suite. Refuses to sell supplements, which she describes as the most useful thing she does for most members.
Written by Halina Novak, one at a time, from a food diary rather than a questionnaire. No products are sold here and none are recommended by brand.
We take a small number of company arrangements, usually four to eight places on the roll held by one employer. They are counted against the hundred and twenty like any other membership, because they are memberships. We do not run workshops, away days or on-site programmes.
